On Monday, April 25th, Mike Kearns, President of the Fremont Warm Springs Sunrise Rotary Club presented to District Governor, Roger Hassler, a $52,668.61 check to Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign. On March 26th, the club held their premier event, “An Evening of Sparkles” where they raised funds for Polio.
In a Rotary District that has clubs numbering well over 100 members upwards of 450 members, the ability for a club with only 25 members to raise the largest amount in the District for Polio is a tremendous effort. In Roger’s words, “That is a club that got off their ask.” Congratulations on a job well done!
